- 1 table spoon Semi roasted sesame seeds

- To create the teriyaki sauce, you mix the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger- garlic paste, and black pepper powder together, whisk it thoroughly
- Divide the marinade into two portions, and keep half in a refrigerator
- Place the chicken pieces in a bowl, pour the the first portion of the sauce over and cover with a plastic wrap. Marinate it in the refrigerator for four hours or over night.

- Mix the corn starch with water, and pour into the chicken as you stir thoroughly
- Allow the corn starch mix to cook in, for about two minutes till it thickens to your taste
- Turn off the heat and garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds

- Note: you can also get your teriyaki sauce at the super market, without having made one from scratch. The only difference is making one yourself allows you to have control over the sweet and salty proportion of the sauce to your taste
