  3. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 2 tbsp light soy sauce

  7. 2 tbsp cornflour
  8. 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

  1. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken wings with ginger garlic paste, light soya sauce, lemon juice, and salt. Leave it to marinate for at least half an hour.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the teriyaki sauce. Without turning on the heat, in a pan mix together brown sugar, light soy sauce, finely chopped garlic, minced ginger, vinegar, and sesame oil. If you are using dark soy sauce, dilute with equal parts water (1/4 cup dark soy sauce with 1/4 cup water). Mix well.
  3. Switch on the heat, bring to a boil. Add in 1 tsp cornflour mixed in 2 tbsp water. Cook until the sauce thickens. This recipe requires a thick sauce. You can dilute it with water to a consistency of your choice. Remove and keep aside.
  4. Next, add cornflour and all-purpose flour to the marinated chicken. Mix well.
